Well, I dunno what to call it, but I do know you’ve seen these multi-function things before. 
 
Back in the day, people used to use them as kerchiefs, pirate-style hats, headbands or neck scarves, and any number of other creative things. Nowadays, you most often see them being used as a convenient and comfortable alternative to face masks.  It’s easy to add in extra filtration (not included) for everyday long-term (non-medical setting) protection, and it looks pretty cool, too. 
 
Also still great to protect your face from wind, cold, bugs etc., while cycling, skiing, snowboarding, or just going about outdoors in cold or inclement weather.  Fits most faces, and is highly elastic with reinforced/covered edges for a nice finish. 94% polyester, 6% spandex.  Chuck it in the wash (warm, not hot), it’s easy to care for and won’t fade.
